Its residential pockets include Model Colony, Bhosale Nagar, Gokhale Nagar and Modibaug, on Ganeshkhind Road beside the College of Agriculture.
Getting around
- Metro: the PCMC–Swargate line stops at Shivaji Nagar and Civil Court, and Metro Line 3 from Hinjewadi comes down Ganeshkhind Road with stations including RBI and Agriculture College. Check which stations are open when you visit.
- Rail: Shivajinagar station is on the suburban line towards Lonavala, and Pune railway station is about 15 minutes away.
- Roads: Ganeshkhind Road, FC Road, JM Road and Senapati Bapat Road, with the Sangamwadi bridge towards the east.
